0.4 Mixed Class EYFS/KS1 Permanent Class Teacher
The Governors of St Mary & St Andrew’s Catholic Primary School are seeking to appoint an experienced, highly motivated, skilled and passionate Early Years/KS1 Teacher to work alongside established members of our team.
The successful candidate will be committed to playing an active role in the life and continued development of our school. They will be confident and highly skilled in effectively implementing the early years and national curriculum; be determined and ambitious that all children will make progress – including those children with additional needs - and that our children’s personal development will be prioritised alongside the provision of safe and stimulating environment.
Working in a small school, collaboration with colleagues to raise standards in all subjects is critical. Subject leadership is a vital element of this role and one which you will be supported to undertake.
Working days will be Thursday and Friday. Salary will be on the Main/Upper Pay Range dependent upon experience.

Out of School Club Manager
The Management Committee of St Mary & St Andrew’s Catholic Primary School’s Out of School Club are delighted to offer an exciting role for a highly organised, self-motivated and dynamic Manager.
Newhouse Out of School Club offers a relaxed, fun, happy environment where children can be ready to start the school day or unwind after a full day at school. We promote security, self-esteem and help children develop confidence and build warm positive relationships. Breakfast sessions are 7:45am to 8:45am and after school sessions are from 3:20pm to 5:45pm Monday to Thursday and 3:20pm to 5:15pm on Friday.
We are a successful, happy and welcoming school community with a positive and caring Catholic ethos and our extended day services are thriving and popular. We are set in a beautiful rural setting, yet within 5 minutes of the M6/M55 junction at Broughton.
The ideal candidate needs to be dedicated, passionate and eager to drive the club forward. This role has the potential to be flexible, with scope to adapt it your way. It will be your responsibility to organise the team to ensure all sessions are covered.
This person will need to have a good knowledge of the statutory requirements and the EYFS framework, as well as Ofsted standards. Someone who can multi-task and prioritise work while always putting the children first.
You will be working alongside the School Business Manager and the Senior Leadership team and will be supported with any training requirements.
This is a part time, term time only position. The annual salary quoted is full time equivalent and will be paid pro-rata. Initially we are offering 13.25hrs per week (Mon-Fri 7:30am-8:45am, Mon 3:30pm-5:45pm + Thurs 3:30pm-6:00pm + Fri 3:30pm-5:30pm These hours are subject to change to meet the needs of the setting and your organisation of the team.
Permanent Contract from: 2 December 2024
13.25hrs per week term time only

Grade 5, Annual Salary £23893 - £25979 dependent on experience and will be paid pro rata.
