The Governors are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to join our school family, working with our wonderful teachers and happy children. This role is fixed term and will end 22nd December 2023.

TA 2a Position:

This role will primarily be working in KS2 classes five mornings a week (Monday to Friday 9am-12:30pm with a 15min break) There will also be the option of increasing these hours by covering our Breakfast Club 4 mornings a week (Monday -Thursday).

Fixed Term Contract:  1st November 2023 – 22 December 2023 to cover a long term absence.

Monday to Friday 7:45am – 3:30pm

This role is to provide classroom support across KS2. Each day will begin with working in our Newhouse after school breakfast club, meeting and greeting our children. Following that at 8:40am you will transition the children into school and support the teaching and learning of our pupils.

Salary: Grade 4 Scale point 4-6 £21,189 – £21,968 (FTE to be paid pro-rata)

We are a successful, happy and welcoming school community with a strong Catholic ethos. We are looking for someone with excellent people skills, who can nurture and support our children with their learning and help our children become the best that they can be.

The successful candidate will be flexible and have the confidence to support and encourage the learning of the National Curriculum across all year groups up to year 6, experience in upper KS2 would be beneficial as would a sporting interest.
